Sun & Energy purchases power on your behalf. By combining the demand from the entire CCA, Sun & Energy is able to negotiate for extremely low-price power. That power is delivered to you through your utility company’s distribution and transmission lines.
Commercial customers enrolled in the Solar+ Plan will also see a solar credit on their bill. Typically, commercial customers in the Solar+ Plan receive solar through a Community Distributed Generation (CDG) solar facility. These are large scale solar farms that share their production with numerous end users.
If you are a large commercial user, with an annual demand in excess of the production of a single solar farm, you may be eligible to sign up for a Remote Net Metered (RNM) solar facility. These facilities dedicate all their production to a single end user.
Sun & Energy sources this solar power (either with CDG facilities or RNM facilities) at a rate even cheaper than traditional sources. By blending all the solar resources in the CCA program, each member benefits from geographic and weather diversity, guaranteeing maximum solar savings.
Sun & Energy is committed to making our rates easily available and understandable. We will notify you about any changes to the change in your rates, whether you are enrolled in the Standard Plan or the Solar+ Plan. See below for the Sun & Energy CCA commercial rate schedule.
